Looney Tunes Dash! combines your favourite cartoon characters and the endless running genre together to offer a fun and challenging experience. Unlike other games that feature limited goals Loonty Tunes Dash! keeps you entertained with an endless stream of level specific goals.

Starting as fan favourite Bugs Bunny players will have to run, jump, slide and even smash their way through levels while being chased by Elmer Fudd. Eventually players will move onto other characters including Tweety Bird and Road Runner which each have their own themed levels. Goals for levels vary from collecting certain items to simply reaching the end of a level unscathed by the various obstacles.

For each level you complete you’ll get a star rating along with coin rewards that can be used to improve your available boosts and unique character abilities. They aren’t new mechanics by any means but they serve their purpose to help you get past the more difficult levels.

Looney Tunes Dash! does have a few tricks up its sleeves though with unique short cooldown skills for each character that add an extra element of excitement and strategy. The addition of a slot type system that you get to spin at the start of each level to provide 3 small bonuses (such as extra points or free starting boosts) is also a nice inclusion.

To provide a longer term objective Looney Tunes Dash! introduces the Loony Tunes Bin which you’ll fill up with unique cards that you collect while also providing interesting trivia. It’s a nice little side feature but it is likely not too many players will bother much with it as it does feel like a final second add on to the game.

There is definitely a lot to do in Looney Tunes Dash! but it does somewhat feel slapped together and slightly uninspired. It might take two elements of the most popular free to play games (Candy Crush and Subway Surfers) but that doesn’t necessarily mean the result is a great one.

  • Play as your favourite Looney Tunes characters.
  • Different themes and abilities for Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and Road Runner.
  • Tackle hundreds of levels Candy Crush style.
  • Use boosts and power-ups to get you over the line.
  • Collect Looney Tune cards for fun facts and pictures.
