After uncovering a strange machine in your new home players embark on a journey to restore the house which is in a state of disrepair.

This mysterious device presumably left by the past tenant has the unique ability of allowing you to read the mind of others which turns into a profitable venture. Using it to look into the mind of your neighbours to help them locate their lost items you’ll charge a healthy fee which can then be invested into your own house repairs.

With a huge cast of characters (over 35) that have all lost a different item there is plenty of items to hunt for. Herein lies the most unique component of the game which sees players activating the machine and literally digging through the brain of your customer.

As one would expect though the brain is hazy at best which means you’ll be sifting through a number of blurry items until you find what exactly your customer is missing. While your customer is after a single item there are several to collect which can earn you additional monetary bonuses. This little bit of extra cash goes a long way in letting you purchase more items for customising your new house and turning it from run down to the perfect home.

Unfortunately this unique hidden object gameplay is paired with a basic matching mini-game for game power ups which does detract somewhat from the experience. Thankfully though you won’t need these to advance the game so it is easy to skip them if you are a decent object hunter.

Memorabilia: Mia’s Mysterious Memory Machine is a reasonable hidden object experience and while it doesn’t offer much in terms of difficulty the innovative style and story of the game will keep you venturing into neighbours brains.

Summary:

  • Hidden object and match three in one game.
  • Search through brain memories for items.
  • Restore your new residence.
  • Great art style and object hunt designs.
  • Over 35 characters to help.
