Tootsville is a virtual based world that thrives on creativity, the game has all the features that you would want from a virtual world including cute elephant plush toy avatars. The game has been around for several years and has proven popular with younger audiences.

Tootsville is free to play and you can have your account up and ready in no time. The intended audience for the game ranges from young 5 year olds all the way up to new teenagers (13). As you would expect for a game with this target audience the gameplay is simple and also features plenty of safety features to ensure parents don’t need to sit behind their children while they play.

These safety features include the ability to restrict game time, filtered chat and regular moderation. The ability to select how much time your daughter or son can play Tootsville for a pretty unique feature and something that not enough games in the genre are doing.

The focus of the game is definitely on simple gameplay with a cute and colourful twist. Younger children will find that the game is easy to navigate and has plenty of games with varying difficulties so there is something for most player ages.

Tootsville has a tie in with physical merchandise but players aren’t required to purchase a Toot (an elephant like creature) to access the game. This purchase of a Toot is optional and generally comes with a membership or similar in game item. On top of merchandise tie ins the game has a premium membership option to increase the amount of accessible content.

Tootsville will definitely prove attractive (and addicting) to younger gamers although late tweens and early teenagers won’t stay entertained for long so probably avoid making a purchase for these older gamers.

Summary:

  • Cute and colourful game world.
  • Tie-ins with physical merchandise.
  • Targeted for kids aged 5 to 14.
  • Plenty of safety features.
  • Well priced membership options that don’t break the bank.
