Tynon aims to bridge the gap between role playing and real time strategy with a unique combination. In the game players are tasked with stopping the goblin advance by putting together a team of heroes that can restore order.

As the game is playable in your browser there is nothing stopping you from starting your own adventure in the world of Tynon. The single player portion of the game is split into two different elements; combat and city building. These two features intertwine together to create an interesting mix of gameplay like no game before.

On the combat side of things it’s a fairly standard turn based affair with players choosing a team of heroes from those available. This pool of available heroes slowly grows over time and they all are unique enough that you can create strategies around particular characters.

A hero is only as good as the equipment they carry and their training though which is where the city building elements of Tynon come into play. Instead of taking your gold from battles straight to the marketplace to purchase equipment like you would in any other game you’ll instead use it to improve your cities. These cities allow you to earn additional money, create equipment and train your team. It’s a unique idea and one that always gives you something else to work towards.

Outside of these two core single player elements Tynon also offers PvP, guild wars and a dungeon that challenges you to advance through a number of floors for powerful rewards. With various ladders in the game everything is very much driven by the sense of competition.

As far as browser games goes Tynon is definitely one of the better options out there. It’s interesting mixture of genres and amount of content will definitely keep you coming back for more.

  • Mixture of RPG and RTS.
  • Lots of ladders to compete on.
  • Customise your heroes and build a team of your favourites.
  • Battle it out in PvP or take on the dungeon for powerful rewards.
  • Browser based experience.

I use to love the game Tynon but they won’t even fix there issues and want people to pay to become VIP. everytime i enter the game and go to fight I can’t im lvl 86 and it seems you want to keep the ones that’s not VIP from getting higher. i’m thinking of finding another game like i did with Runescape.
