Damage (Wraith Form) Build
For bone farming in Wraith Form or active gameplay for character levels focus talents that boost your Wraith Form bonuses and attacking talents to speed up your killing efficiency.
Given all Death Bringer (DB) talents have useful utility I recommend a single point in all of them. This will activate any talent level boosts turning this one point into dozens before investing your remaining points in these core talents:

Depending on your max library level, skilling levels and other account factors this core talents can be maxed around Death Bringer level 600. Additional talent points follow this recommended order with further Wraith stats a low priority as damage and survivability primary comes from Grimoire UI upgrades:
- Apocalypse Wow: Account wide golden food effect per 1 billion mob kills
- Dank Ranks: Bonus to Land Rank bonuses (Bonuses such as stealth, drop rate, all stat and damage)
- Ribbon Winning: Ribbons for World 4 cooking
- Wraith Overlord: Account wide damage
- Wraith Form: Wraith damage
- Famine O’ Fish: Wraith damage (Critical Chance and Damage)
- Bulkwark Style: Wraith survivability (Defence and HP)
- Built Different: Base Strength for Death Bringer damage
Wraith Form Tips & Benefits
These general Wraith Form tips will optimise your Death Bringer Wraith Form progression:

- Remove Prayers: Remove Midas Minded and Jawbreaker prayers from your character as these increase enemy health in Wraith Form and slow your progress.
- Equipment Choices: Fishing efficiency can provide damage boosts with the Famine O’ Fish talent. The major sources of this are fishing rod, fishing shoes (Angler Boots or Deep Sea Galoshes), Serrated Rex Rings, Golden Ribs and fishing cards.
- Healing Food: Equip multiple healing foods as the Death Bringer struggles for survivability in Wraith Form early in progression.
- Bone Increases: The major sources of increased bone gain are the Gambit cavern in World 5, a Sneaking Pristine Charm and an arcade bonus.
- Graveyard Shift Placement: The location of the gravestone can massively impact the rate you generate bones and when using Charred Bones in particular use the gravestone locations noted in this guide to maximise bone gain.
- Charred Bones: These bones are the AFK mechanic of the Death Bringer and can be maximised by carefully placing the Gravestone as noted above. To optimise these further actively control your Death Bringer for one gravestone cycle focusing on defeating the horde mobs to trigger Destonation talent and use Charred Bones just before the gravestone cooldown expires.
- Upgrade Balance: Marauder Style is an important accuracy source while progressing. While you should prioritise accuracy, damage and account benefits in the Grimoire make sure you still purchase the other upgrades when they are cheap.
- Account Boosts: The Death Bringer Grimoire has powerful account benefits including rare ribbon chance, land rank boosts, Tome bonuses, higher crop bonuses, max meal levels, Villager EXP, talent levels for all characters and drop rate.
Wraith Form World Progression Guide
Your Wraith Form goal is to reach the highest worlds as bone gain increases drastically to unlock the strong but expensive Grimoire benefits.
World 1
- Progress rapidly through maps when your Wraith Form accuracy, health and damage allows which should be your upgrade focus.
- During this quick early progression manually control your Death Bringer to focus the Hordes created by Graveyard Shift to trigger Detonation.
- The best initial maps for farming Femurs are Green Mushrooms and Beans given the small map layouts when you reach a bottleneck in pushing maps and need bones for Grimoire buffs.
- Unlock Ribbon Shelf and Ribbon Winning in Grimoire when available but avoid investing heavily in Ribbon Winning initially as these bones are better used in Wraith accuracy, damage, defence and health for buffing Wraith Form to boost progression speed.
- The best maps in World 1 for longer term bone farming are Walking Sticks (Femur) and Nutto (Ribcage) with the bottom portals of both maps being the ideal active Gravestone placement although you will need to progress World 2 before meeting these accuracy requirements.
World 2
- Continue to prioritise map progression and Wraith Form benefits in the Grimoire. Wraith of all Trades (% Accuracy, Defence and HP) will be your primary focus during this world along with further increasing base values of these stats.
- The best bone farming maps in World 2 will usually be the highest map you have currently reached due to the increasing base bone drops of enemies.
- While 100% accuracy should be your goal some lower values (60-70%) may provide more bones if the enemy has a higher bone drop value so use the AFK Info screen to identify your best current option.
- Ultimately your goal is to return to World 1 for Walking Sticks and Nutto farming when you meet the accuracy required.
- If you don’t want to actively place your Gravestone each cooldown but want to active AFK instead of using Charred Bones then Tysons (Ribcage) and Snelbie (Femur) have decent rates but the additional walking results in lower hourly rates so Charred Bones should only be used in World 1.
World 3
- World 3 is a significant roadblock in Wraith Form accuracy so focus Femur farming at Bloques when possible as all accuracy upgrades available at the moment use Femur.
- Ribcages from Sheepie are still useful though for damage to ensure you can continue to 1 hit kill enemies with Knockout!, Femur Hoarding and Elimination! Grimoire upgrades.
- Knockout! and Elimination! require players to go back to previous World maps to complete damage challenges so remember to do these when unlocked and as you continue to progress for maximum damage benefit.
- A number of enemies in this world drop the new Cranium bone type which is extremely valuable when you unlock Wraith Accuracy III to obtain accuracy although until you unlock this it has no uses in the Grimoire. Make sure you are balancing your Grimoire upgrades to unlock this and maximise Marauder Style accuracy boosts.
World 4
- To progress through World 4 and beyond you will need to unlock the previously mentioned Wraith Accuracy III and balance the cost of this upgrade compared to your previous accuracy upgrades. Consider your current bone rates per hour and the accuracy benefit of each Grimoire upgrade to optimise your accuracy progress. For example Accuracy II gives 3 accuracy per level compared to Accuracy I that gives 1 so its Femur cost should always be triple.
- Reaching this point also means you will unlock Bones o’ Plenty for a notable boost to bone rates and costs Ribcages for upgrades.
- The best World 4 maps to push for are Clammies (Femur), Genie/Stilted Seeker (Ribcages) and Soda Cans/Flombeige (Cranium).
World 5
- By the time you reach World 5 Writhing Grimoire should be close which boosts all Grimoire bonuses. This combined with Wraith Accuracy IV and Wraith of all Trades II directly after will permanently solve your accuracy issues.
- Wraith of all Trades II uses the fourth and final bone type of Bovinae which is first available from Maccies and even with low accuracy or damage it will be worthwhile farming some of this new bone to level this Grimoire upgrade.
- From this point onwards damage will be a major focus to ensure you can quickly kill all enemies for high bone rates. Remember to return to the Knockout! and Elimination! challenges and complete the new Annihilation! challenge you have unlocked during Grimoire progression.
- A focus in World 5 should be reaching and maxing Skull of Major Talent as this provides 30 max talent levels for all other characters for one of the strongest Grimoire account benefits so continue to balance all upgrades to unlock it.
- The best maps through world 5 are Suggma/Stiltmole (Femur), Purgatory Stalker (Ribcage), Mister Brightside (Cranium) and Molti/Citringe/Tremor Wurm for Bovinae.
World 6
- World 6 provides the highest bone rates available and is simply a matter of time to reach the final Grimoire bonuses I recommend chasing which includes drop rate and master class talent points. Along the way you will also get the final accuracy boosts in Cranium Hoarding and Wraith Accuracy V with a bone boost from Bovinae Hoarding.
- Before pushing for these I recommend returning to past Grimoire unlocks that have account wide benefits and investing bones there. This includes Ribbon Winning, Land Rank Database Maxim, Pure Opals, Grey Tome Book, Superior Crop Research, Skull of Major Experience, Supreme Head Chef Status and Village Extracirciular.
- For any accuracy or damage roadblocks the strategies remain the same as previous worlds with balanced upgrades for Marauder Style and completing the Grimoire damage challenges. Also maintain at least 100m Femur and Cranium to boost Femur Hoarding (DMG) and Cranium Hoarding (Accuracy).
- The best bone maps in World 6 are Baby Trolls/Woodlin Spirits (Femur), Mama Troll (Ribcage) and River Spirit/Bamboo Spirit (Cranium). The best map for Bovaine remains World 5 Tremor Wurms as the Sprout Spirit map layout is worse and the requirements for Ceramic Spirit are simply to high to access before you finish the important Grimoire account upgrades.
World 7
- With World 7 released the Death Bringer can explore the Shimmerfin Deep. The damage requirements here are significant but players can slowly progress through these maps with careful spending of daily masterclass discounts from Legend Talents.
- Expect to need damage values in the trillions for World 7 and given the slow progress the best maps for bones will be the furthest map currently unlocked for that bone type.

The best locations for each bone type are below, for Worlds 1 and 2 or other alternatives refer to the above progression guide. If Graveyard Shift location is important to maximise bone gain before using Charred bones it is noted below.

Farming Build
With several World 6 farming talents your secondary talent preset will improve farming progression by using it when claiming crops. This preset should be the same as your mining/fishing preset and is also ideal to max the account wide boosts so they are active when your Death Bringer is skilling (e.g. cooking) with the following priority:
