The Idleon event shop is a recurring shop where players can purchase unique upgrades in exchange for event points. With a rotating pool of bonuses, a tiered shop (black market and forbidden aisle) and limited event points choosing the correct purchase with this tier list will maximise your potential account boosts.

Event Shop Overview
- The Event Shop rotates bonuses every Idleon event with a mixture of new and repeat bonuses from past events alongside hats, nametags, event pets and other account buffs.
- There are three different shop tiers with the next one only unlocked once you have purchased all 4 upgrades in the current shop tier. The bonuses get more expensive in each tier and are generally stronger.
- The shop tiers are the regular event shop, black market and forbidden aisle. Some event shop purchases have appeared in different tiers depending on the event.
- Event Points are the currency for all of these shop tiers which are earned by participating in the event mini-game.
- Event Points and event plays carry over between events allowing them to be saved for a refreshed store or different event specific prizes. Event plays can be purchased for gems, earned daily for killing monsters or staying online.
Event Shop Priority (Tier List)
Use this event shop priority list to decide if a bonus is worth your event points considering your own overall account progress. If you are free to play be more strict on upgrades and focus on longer term account boosts. Sometimes it is worthwhile purchasing a lower tier event bonus from the regular store to unlock the black market or forbidden aisle if you have the event points available.
All of the regular, black market and forbidden aisle purchases and costs are based on the last time they appeared in an Idleon event as event point cost and availability of bonuses has moved around between events.
Regular Event Shop Tier List
| Event Shop Bonus | Event Point Cost | Tier Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | S | Helps push your best stamps further beyond your carry capacity with enough luck | |
| 20 | S | Helps to push alchemy at no resource cost and particularly useful for harder to level bubbles. Less important if you have already a strong established alchemy skill by the time this is available in the event shop. | |
| 23 | A | Turning additional construction slots will help cut down on the time to upgrade all of the useful construction buildings. | |
| 25 | A | A general and effective boost to many game activities. | |
| 30 | A | Helps to push stamp levels with extra inventory space. | |
| 35 | A | For the avid hat collector this is a decent boost to many stats although a lower priority if your hat collection is small. | |
| |
20 | A | Speeds up World 7 Research speed by around 25% given as there are 3 other easy to acquire magnifying glasses early on. The effectiveness of this slowly falls away as you unlock other magnifying glasses later though. |
| 40 | B | Speeds up the World 5 Cavern mechanic which has many account wide buffs. Less important if you already have significant progress before it becomes available. | |
| 10 | B | The cheapest storage upgrade with a convenient 12 extra slots, purchase based on your preferences and needs for more space. | |
| 20 | B | Same as the above. | |
| Dough Roller – 2x Cooking Speed | 50 | B | Cooking is an important World 4 skill and this upgrade helps to acquire cooking upgrades earlier. However, you will eventually reach a point where meals cannot be levelled due to the high requirements. If you’ve already reached that ceiling in cooking this is less valuable. |
| 17 | B | The stronger coin multiplier which is a cheap event shop purchase to help with Upgrade Vault and other in game money sinks. | |
| 15 | B | Same as the above. | |
| 35 | C | A reasonable damage multi but is most effective at higher tome point levels due to the scaling at which point the extra damage is a lower priority. | |
| 15 | C | Equinox Valley has some useful boosts but there are already other boosts to this speed that makes spending event points unnecessary. | |
| 15 | C | A small additional source of Gold Balls for the arcade to boost various account bonuses. Lower priority for accounts with lots of gold balls. | |
| 12 | C | The friend bonuses provide only small boosts to your account and the base slots have space for important ones like drop rate. | |
| 20 | D | These mini game point shops provide mostly small increases in some stats although Darts does have Vault Upgrade cost reduction that is helpful later to pushing expensive upgrades. | |
| 35 | D | There are some limited useful World 2 Ballot Bonuses but this is an expensive event shop purchase for that boost given they come around rarely. | |
| 20 | D | Sushi currency is not a limiting factor to progression so can easily be skipped. | |
| 20 | D | Convenience purchase only based on your preferences. | |
| 15 | D | There are other post office boosting mechanics available and silver pens can be farmed with ease that this is not an important upgrade. |
Black Market Tier List
| Event Shop Bonus | Event Point Cost | Tier Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 70 | S | Statues have many strong boosts for this multiplier to increase. | |
| 35 | S | More crystal monsters increases active gameplay returns for activities like statue farming or character level pushing. | |
| 35 | S | Stamps have strong unique bonuses that are exalted with this increasing the exalt multiplier. | |
| 45 | S | With many notable bonuses this will maximise your efforts during important weeks like masterclass resources, Gaming pushing and Hole Monuments. | |
| 35 | S | A solid boost given this can multiply multiple other research objects on your observations and relatively cheap in terms of black market purchases. | |
| 75 | A | Increases in power based on your sticker collection for multipliers like bit gain, class EXP and Spelunking POW. | |
| 60 | A | A useful reduction in cost to the Glimbo mechanic for extra purchases to push the drop rate multi bonus. | |
| 55 | B | Acquire extra ribbons for World 4 to reduce the time required to buff the strongest game meals. World 7 has a Legend Talent to boost the number of these daily so it’s not critical but does still reduce the timegate. | |
| 40 | B | A more expensive storage space option with slightly more slots, purchase based on needs and preferences. | |
| 25 | B | A cheap black market source of some extra World 7 Legend Talent points which has higher value to lower account level accounts. | |
| 35 | B | There are already many sources of currency gain for Minehead so this is not required but will reduce the time taken to unlock the various bonuses from this mechanic. | |
| 25 | C | There are some limited useful World 2 Ballot Bonuses which the extra boost improves further. | |
| 90 | C | Helps unlock all artifacts sooner but there are enough sources already in game to unlock them and this is a very expensive purchase. | |
| Boat Discount – All sailing boat upgrades are 30% cheaper | 100 | C | Push your boats further for extra loot to trade in for gold bars. This is a nice to have event upgrade but has a minor impact on progression. |
| 45 | D | There are many other printer output boosts scattered throughout the worlds that this additional source is not required. | |
| 30 | D | Â As you swap between an essence and damage setup with summoning stars already the extra are not particularly useful. | |
| 35 | D | Currently there are not enough strong trophies for this to be a useful upgrade. | |
| 30 | D | There are many other coral boost sources and currently coral has no use after you max all the upgrades so this is not necessary. | |
| 33 | D | While nice to overcome the random number generator pain of unlocking new observations in World 7 you will eventually unlock them all so this is a low priority purchase. | |
| 50 | D | Convenience purchase only based on your preferences. |
Forbidden Aisle Tier List
| Event Shop Bonus | Event Point Cost | Tier Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 125 | S | A strong boost to the key drop rate stat that is effective for many game activities and is around a 1.25x multi depending on Tome score. | |
| 150 | S | Atoms have several rare account boosts that can be pushed further with this Forbidden Aisle purchase. This includes Aluminium for exalt stamp power, Fluoride cooking speed and Nitrogen for extra construction speed. | |
| 180 | A | Boosts the bonuses of your strongest trophy for another drop rate and/or AFK boost depending on your trophy collection. | |
| 150 | A | Effectively a 1.5x potential boost to Research EXP by giving each day 36 hours instead of 24 which also progresses research related mechanics (Minehead and Sushi) for a simple daily activity. Particularly powerful for players that don’t keep Idleon open regularly as it gives 12hrs of active gain rates not AFK gains. | |
| 200 | B | These shapes are unlocked in a specific order so the exact shape will vary based on your research progress and shape sources. An extra shape is useful to multiply the powerful research grid bonuses once your research is established. | |
| 170 | B | Speeds up the time to reach the diminishing returns of exotic market purchases and maximises when certain rare options are in the exotic market. | |
| 199 | B | Some of the vault upgrades from Glimbo are reasonably useful like Divinity but you’ll still be limited by the number of trades you can make and the costs so it’s not a massive boost in practice. | |
| 250 | B | A useful boost given its ongoing effect to make stickers easier to find for Equinox Nightmare challenges, sticker bonuses and the damage multi from Research. | |
| Bejeweled Laddle – +5 Purple and Yellow PTS for Cooking Mastery! | 250 | B | Useful to push cooking mastery a little further than other players for EXP or meal boosts. However, the number of good meals for yellow points are limited. |
| Fishmaxxing – 5x Fish and 75% cheaper upgrades for Poppy | 275 | B | A strong boost to push Poppy further which is primarily for the AFK Gains % available. More valuable if you have the Santa’s Little Helper pet to increase this even further. |
| 200 | B | The effectiveness of this will vary based on how many you have been able to purchase from limited time gem shops and the number of cards available to use these on. More valuable if your regularly used cards are not all 6 star yet and lower value if they are already. | |
| Elegant Ribbons – New Ribbons have a 25% chance to be +1 tier higher! | 190 | C | Combines with other sources to reduce the time to reach high tier ribbons slightly. |
| 175 | C | While tiny cogs are extremely powerful there are limited spaces available to place them on the construction board so this purchase only decreases the time to complete your ideal cog collection. Stronger if you have a weaker construction board. | |
| 100 | C | The strength of this will depend on your Monument progress and can be quite strong early on where 100 levels is impactful although it only boosts bonuses you already have at least a level in. For established monument players though the 100 levels may not provide any boost due to the diminishing returns of most monument bonuses so consider your own account. | |
| 75 | C | The effectiveness of this purchase varies based on your alchemy progress and if you have been lucky with your daily stamp hits on the Kruker Stamp.
The speed up to alchemy progress is useful but the most impactful bubbles from Kruk (stat bubbles) reduce in effectiveness after 50,000 bubble level. |
