Party Dungeons are an early game Idleon mechanic that groups players together to defeat various challenges for account boosts. This guide provides tips to dungeons (W1, W2 and W3), the best credit shop items to purchase and the ideal trait setup. For new players to dungeons I recommend the Warrior/Squire job line as they are the best dungeon class.

Dungeon Tips
- Best Class: Warriors are the best dungeon class with simple area of effect attacks and low mana costs. Use the Squire job advancement when available for additional skill attacks.
- Happy Hour: Always play during happy hour for the extra rewards from multiple boosted tickets. The World 1 Dungeon is the most popular while World 2 and World 3 are generally completed solo.
- Cards: Use Dungeon specific cards and the card set as these have various small but important boosts including drop rate and currency gain.
- Prayers: The Vacuous Tissue prayer unlocked from wave 51 Frosty Firefight doubles the Dungeon Credits and Flurbos earned but also doubles the dungeon passes. If combining this with Happy Hour make sure you have at least 40 boosted runs (20 Happy Hour cost base x 2) otherwise your rewards will not be increased due to a bug.
- W1 Dungeon: The World 1 Dungeon is primarily a drop chance challenge to ensure you acquire enough monster drops to summon the frog boss while building the necessary damage. Extra players can help with this challenge to get the monster drops or spawn extra monsters from chopping the tree in the corner.
- W2 Dungeon: W2 has various skill based challenges that require a foundation of passive stats to beat as available RNG items are reduced so only tackle this dungeon after you have higher dungeon ranks. Use the Idleon wiki to ensure you understand the goal of each challenge.
- W3 Dungeon: Similar to W2 some dungeon rank is required to beat this challenge where you farm as many jobs as possible to get the necessary RNG items to damage the Ice Guards and bosses.
Dungeon Builds
There are three core dungeon builds (Grey Grumblo, RNG Voucher, Horn of the Foal)Â to maximise your chance of victory. This choice depends on your current upgrades and luck with drops during a party dungeon.
Grey Grumblo (Grey Items)
The initial build for Idleon dungeon players this simple build utilises the Grey Grumblo RNG item which is unlocked by the Naked and Afraid World 1 achievement (kill a sewer Poop with no equipment or weapon).
Combine this item with ONLY other grey items and your damage will scale rapidly. Be careful to never take a non-grey item and focus on the best grey RNG items such as Handy Icepick and Sugar Rush.
RNG Voucher (Massive RNG Items)
Once unlocked from the Souped Up Salts achievement in World 3 (reach red refinery rank 10) stacking these during a party dungeon reaches a critical mass of RNG items by purchasing enhancers from the store for cheap and selling them.
Horn of the Foal (Large Critical Damage)
The ultimate RNG item which is unlocked from the House Flipper achievement (defeat Baba Yaga in under 25 seconds). Once this drops you will want to focus on boosting critical chance with the Sharp Eye grey RNG item as non-critical hits deal no damage. Also add other critical items such as Sneaky Cap (Green), Sucker Punch (Green) and Dead Book (Blue).
The odds of finding this item are significantly increased with the Coin Flip purple RNG item and the Royale Traits level 40 trait which gives approximately a 50% chance to start with Horn of the Foal.
Best Dungeon Credits Shop Purchases
These are my recommended priority items to unlock and then upgrade further to increase their power level across each RNG type. Given how many grey items you obtain even the ones not listed here are eventually worthwhile upgrading.
For passive party dungeon stats level them as follows:
- All passive stats to level 50 as a base of all stats is important to dungeon progress and each purchase gets more expensive.
- After level 50 focus on your specific account needs (HP/Block Chance for survivability, Base/Total Damage/Critical Chance for damage or Drop Rarity for a general boost to RNG item drop rate).

Best Dungeon Traits
Dungeon Traits are unlocked every 5 levels and these are the best trait at each level:

RNG Items are a strong shop purchase as they provide an abundance of upgrades to your power so is the most consistent choice here.
The enhancer option is also useful when running a RNG Voucher build but if you don’t obtain an RNG Voucher during your run its not as valuable. |

Dungeon Flurbos, the pink ones, drop +30% more often from mobs and bosses
Best Flurbo Shop Purchases
The Flurbo shop uses the pink dungeon currency to turn your party dungeon progress into other game bonuses with several powerful passive stats, keychains, star talents and accessories. I recommend prioritising the following:
- Non Dungeon Stats – Accuracy, Weapon Power, AFK Gains and Talent Points are powerful early game bonuses to help your progression.
- Star Talents – Supersource is a powerful early game special talent and should be purchased early on. Action Frenzy and Mega Crit are also powerful but delay these purchases until you have purchased any pendants or rings you need for your character.
- Pendants – To save on Flurbos spent purchase one of each pendant to unlock the next one as Persephones Bouquet is the strongest option that you want at least one of for your account.
- Rings – Similar to Pendants buy one of each to unlock them but focus on Rex Rings and the Emperor’s Opal for your characters.
- Keychains – Purchasing the tier 3 options is a late game activity for mob respawn, stat or AFK gains. Don’t purchase any keychains until you have all other Flurbo items you want as it is expensive to find good keychains and you can also earn them through normal party dungeon gameplay.
