With dozens of character specific bonuses and limited boxes initially choosing the right option can be a daunting new player challenge. This guide details the best post office upgrades with builds for each character, general tips to earn boxes faster and how to complete a post office reset.

Post Office Box Priority (All Characters)
With enough time players will eventually max all post office boxes on all characters. As you have limited boxes initially though the first boxes you select are critical.
This is my recommended post office priority (top to bottom) for each class on your account and can be adjusted if you feel you are lacking something on a specific character (skilling, fighting or utility). I recommend all characters start with skilling as this is important to crafting, stamps and alchemy and then add fighting or utility to your preferences:

The utility column above includes the World 5 focused Box of Gosh, Gaming Loot crate and Scurvy C’arr’ate as these are useful on all characters for the Divinity EXP and AFK progress to Gaming/Sailing. Construction Container is useful on all characters to improve shrine charge rates. After the above priorities max the remaining post office boxes on all characters.
Post Office Tips & Reset
- Start Early: Unlocking the Post Office is difficult as it requires Hermit Cans and Distilled Water which are scarce when starting in World 2. Prioritising this is important though as every day without it unlocked is less potential orders to complete for boxes.
- Balanced Box Upgrades: The first 200 boxes are more effective than the next 200 for most post office box orders. As a result it is more effective to level all of your core character boxes to 200 first before maxing them at 400.
- Streak Management: Streaks are useful as they generate extra boxes but the higher your streak (up to 100) the higher resource requirements. Finding a balance between maximising extra boxes and your ability to generate the resource cost as you progress is important so you don’t spend excessive time or resources on the post office.
- Skip Tough Orders: Often you are better off skipping the difficult orders from Plan-it Express and Down Undelivery as the time to get the item outweighs the benefit. Use a silver pen and the tap to refresh option or wait 3 days to refresh the order without a silver pen. If you have a shield on your order streak the silver pen can remove the shield if it is 5 or above.
- Silver Pens For More Boxes: The best way to covert silver pens into boxes is to complete and then reset the Simple Shippin or Dudes Next Door order after stockpiling the common World 1 and World 2 resources.
- Post Office Box Reset: The Post Office Box Reseto Magnifico item can be used for a post office reset for a particular character and available from a Lord of the Hunt (World 3) quest, Gem Shop and events. If you obtain one for free and are unhappy with your box allocation then consider using it but don’t waste free gems on this item as eventually you can max all boxes.
- Daily Boxes: There are several sources of free daily post office boxes (below) that can significantly speed up post office progression as they do not rely on resources.
