This Idleon recipe unlock priority guide recommends the best order to purchase merit board recipes. These important task board equipment unlocks use trophies earned for completing different world tasks and daily actions with the correct order ensuring you have the best equipment when needed from World 1 to World 4. This mechanic is closely tied to the Merit Shop system which has its own priority list guide.

Merit Shop & Tasks Overview

  • Progress is shared across all characters on your account.
  • Players earn trophies (or Points/PTS) for themed world and daily challenges that are spent in the recipe unlocks screen.
  • The daily challenge refreshes at your daily Idleon reset and earns trophies only. These are important to earning enough trophies to unlock everything in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Task completion can be claimed through the codex quick reference instead of visiting the task board in each world.
  • Once you accumulate enough trophies you gain a recipe unlock, these can be banked endlessly but reaching the next recipe unlock requires more trophies than the previous.
  • In order to access higher recipe unlock tiers first purchase a certain number of recipes in the previous tiers (7, 22 and 60). This means it is most efficient to only buy the best items across all tiers first then return to the other options.
  • Most recipe unlocks provide two different items which can be checked by clicking an item in the recipe unlock screen. This is the primary method to unlock recipes up to World 4 as after this (World 5 onwards) anvil recipes are dropped by monsters.

Tasks Recipe Unlocks Priority

Following these recipe unlock will efficiently unlock the correct recipes for the anvil as needed. This is particularly important during World 1 and 2 where trophy PTS are scarce although increase in availability in World 3 and 4 as you have access to more daily tasks. This order prioritises weapons, skilling tools, utility and then the gem purchases with tabs mixed below as you don’t need to unlock everything on a previous tab first:
