This Idleon sneaking guide details the best sneaking items to help you unlock pristine charms, jade emporium bonuses and sneaking mastery boosts. Sneaking is a complex World 6 skill that requires strategic choices to optimise progression and while the Wind Walker has various important account wide bonuses all of your characters will contribute to sneaking progress.

Sneaking Progression Guide (Best Items & Priority)
Sneaking can be split into three different stages of progression (early, middle and late) which focus on building a foundation, pushing floors or sneaking mastery and then farming sneaking related currency or boosts. Each of these phases has different goals, strategies and best sneaking items to utilise.
Early: Initial World 6 progress where you are trying to push through the initial sneaking floors to unlock all characters and generate jade for ninja knowledge sneaking upgrades or Jade Emporium. During this stage:
- Farm Kunai and Nunchaku as new ones become available
- Farm one of each gold item as it becomes available
- Use one character with Scroll of Power and Silk Veil and other characters with Silk Veil and Smoke Bomb as shown below to progress floors.

Middle Pushing: The largest portion of sneaking progression this will be when you progress to the first sneaking mastery (unlocked in the World 4 rift) and have access to most charms. From this stage onwards all your characters should always be on the same floor as the Lotus Flower bonus is required to progress. During this stage:
- Farm Nunchaku as new ones become available
- Farm one of each gold item as it becomes available (either because its new or you can reach a new maximum)
- Regularly switch between farming gems, jade and charms to improve sneak and then pushing doors.
- Back track to previous sneaking levels regularly to upgrade your main sneaking boosts (gems, jade and charms) each time you hit a wall with this setup below. Rosaries and Silk Veil give the highest sneaking benefit as they are multiplicative while other sneaking charm combos are only additive. The Lotus Flower characters are sacrifices to boost your other characters sneak and will spend a lot of time knocked out as there sneak value will be lower.

- When encountering significant roadblocks during this middle phase focus on levelling the newly unlocked sneaking gems. All of these gems are significant boosts although Garnet (door damage) and Topaz (sneak experience) are a lower priority. I recommend levelling gems to 10k first and then eventually pushing for 101k which is the effective maximum bonus. When farming gems or charms from lower sneaking levels use the below setup to maximise items found. If you can have more characters on double meteorite while maintaining near 0% sneak this will provide even more items which will require regular sneaking checks:

Late Farming: At this point you’ve unlocked the first 4 or 5 sneaking masteries, have reached 101k in all gems and can transition into one of the following:
- Farm pristine charms with the double meteorite setup above on all characters on a low sneaking mastery level where you have 0% detection chance as pristine charms are not impacted by sneaking mastery. To give yourself extra inventory space you can delete all your gold charms except the Gold Scroll, Gold Beads and Gold Q Mark and farm them again later.
- Farm Jade coins for Ninja Knowledge purchases for potential future sneaking expansions after you have all pristine charms where you get the best rates with the Power Scroll/Rosaries, Rosaries/Silk Veil and Lotus Flower/Lotus Flower setup in the middle pushing above.
- Farm Sneaking levels by placing one character with double Black Belts on the ghost floor of the highest mastery reached for massive sneaking experience. This boosts sneaking rates significantly so can also be useful in middle pushing while also triggering the big alchemy bubble Level Up Gift hundreds of times for free Gems.
- Push Further Masteries: In order to push further than mastery 5 players need to reach world 7 and unlock Funeral Flowers from the fifth upgrade in the Pillar Reef. Once this is unlocked the way to push floors relies on equipping all characters with yellow belts to reduce their action speed time until knockout. With enough knockouts your sneaking will be boosted enough to push floor by floor.

Sneaking Tips
- Initial Progression (Unlock Characters): Your first sneaking goal is to unlock your characters scattered on higher sneaking floors to have more characters perform sneaking actions. If an untie or door breaking action will take longer than 24hrs though you should focus on lowering your detect chance first.
- Hand Items: Hand items include Kunai to untie characters, Nunchaku to break doors and gloves which improve action speed of finding items and jade. Only one hand item can be equipped per character and defines the action that character will take if available. If there is no character to untie or door to knock down they will return to finding items and jade.
- Charm Types: Players can find gold charms that provide passive sneaking bonuses when held in the sneaking inventory, general charms that can be equipped by each of your characters and powerful rare pristine charms that have Idleon account bonuses when claimed.
- Spend Jade Wisely: Jade is the sneaking currency earned by your characters over time and boosts sneaking but is also spent at the Jade Emporium for account upgrades. Sneaking boosts should always be a priority to improve jade gain first and I recommend only purchasing Jade Emporium boosts when it is only 1 or 2 days of your overall jade gain. Generally Jade gains increase on higher floors but this will depend on your sneaking rate so always check your rates by picking up a character.
- Wind Walker Talents: Before opening the sneaking interface use a second talent preset with the Wind Walker sneaking talents at a high level to maximise the boosts they provide.
- Ninja Knowledge Priority: Nearly all the jade upgrades in sneaking are valuable (except Star Sweeping) so I recommend purchasing the cheapest upgrade although you can stop purchasing Kunai Knowledge when all your characters are untied.
- Clear Your Inventory & Backtrack Regularly: A full inventory in sneaking can hurt your progression as any charms or other items found are lost. Turn on the auto trash bad items to help with inventory management as this does not delete sneaking gems, pristine charms or sneaking hats. Backtracking to previous floors regularly is also a good tactic for specific charms as the max level these drop steadily increases with sneaking progression.
- Maximise Sneaking Level: Sneaking level is one of the best boosts to overall sneaking due to the Way of Stealth ninja knowledge upgrade. Rotating the Scroll of Power item between your characters can help level all characters and eventually using double Black Belt items on floor 0 (the ghost floor) of higher sneaking masteries.
- External Sneaking Boosts: Sneaking is mostly a contained skill but there are some powerful sneaking boosts to help progression. The largest ones are the Stealth Statue, The Cavern Lamp upgrade and the Farming Land Rank upgrade.
- Pristine Charms: As Pristine Charms can drop duplicates you can save Gems by collecting most of the Pristine Charms naturally first when the chance of duplicates is low. As you begin to unlock nearly all of them and duplicates become an issue purchase the last few from the Gem Shop if they are useful.
- Sneaking Symbols: Unlocked in World 7 these are an important boost for higher sneaking masteries as they buff particular sneaking slots in your inventory or eventually character inventories. The success chance for these is higher in the top row of your inventory in a left to right pattern so all your gold charms should be placed in this order.
