Worship Tips & Key Bonuses
These general Worship tips apply to all totem challenges:
- Construction Towers: While tower defence setup is important your max wave is heavily influenced by your wizard tower levels from construction. Initially the Boulder Roller is the best damage tower until you unlock Poisonic Elder. Frozone Malon, Stormcaller, Party Starter, Krakan Cosplayer and Voidinator still provide important utility though so don’t neglect them completely.
- Hunter Best Class: The Hunter is the best class for Worship mini-games as they can use Stop Right There to stop tower defence enemies for a small period of time and Kung Fu Kick to knock back enemies.
- Slow Roast Wiz (World 3 Equinox): This upgrade is critical to reaching the highest tower defence (TD) waves as it scales your wizard tower damage over time and why you want to spam all waves up to the boss wave to start this accumulating. I recommend unlocking at least one level through Equinox once available to help with tower defence progression and then add more depending on your other Equinox priorities.
- Cannoli (World 4 Cooking): This is an overlooked tower defence meal upgrade that improves the points earned in tower defence that translates to extra towers and upgrades for pushing the highest waves possible.
- General Tower Defence Strategy: While early tower defence waves you can kill monsters with damage alone later waves you need to focus on stalling enemies with Hunter talents, the Kraken Cosplayer and the Frozone Malone tower. For all worship challenges below focus on damage towers initially then add Kraken/Frozone utility when the enemy numbers put your totem health at risk. From this point onwards find a balance of damage and utility based on your own account boosts and tower levels. Always spam click next wave to reach the boss wave to start activating Slow Roast Wiz when you have this unlocked and the necessary stall towers (Kraken/Frozone) setup.
Worship Strategy & Tower Upgrades (All Worlds)
While each worship totem has slightly different layout and monster waves the strategy for all worlds is some combination of the following. Knowing this overall strategy is important as you can adjust it as necessary for your own specific account progression in wizard towers:
- Disable enemy colours with a Voidinator near the spawn portal. This is particularly important for difficult colours like green (healing), blue (invisibility) and orange (stuns towers). As fast cooldown is not required focus Voidinator upgrades on option B (extra damage).
- Hold enemies back with a mixture of Kraken Cosplayer (if unlocked) and Frozone Malone utility. Upgrade Kraken with at least one B upgrade to push mobs back further and then start stacking underlings with upgrade A so you can hold more enemies back. For Frozone focus upgrade A for extra freeze effect as enemies will be permanently frozen so upgrade B (longer frozen time) has less value.
- Add damage through Poisonic Elder where they can attack any enemies being held by your Kraken towers. Add at least two A upgrades to double the time your poison clouds last then start maximising upgrade B for the most efficient damage. Prior to unlocking Poisonic Elder you can use either Pulse Mage with A upgrades or Boulder Roller with B upgrades.
- Add further damage and utility with Party Starter and Stormcaller. Upgrade Party Starter with A upgrades as the speed helps Kraken push mobs back faster and increases your damage tower attack speed. Increase speed until you reach 0.30 Kraken speed which can be checked by clicking on a Krkane (0.24 in the screenshot below). Upgrade Stormcaller towers with B 5 times to reach 100% critical chance on towers then upgrade A.

| Tower | Recommended Upgrades |
|---|---|
Voidinator |
All B |
Kraken Cosplayer |
One B then all A (repeat each tower) |
Frozen Malone |
All A |
Poisonic Elder |
Two A then all B (repeat each tower) |
Party Starter |
All A until Kraken speed is ~0.30 then all B |
Stormcaller |
Five B across all Stormcaller towers then all A |
Pulse Mage |
All A (only use before Boulder Roller) |
Boulder Roller |
All B (only use before Poisonic Elder) |
Goblin Gorfest (World 1 – Forest Outskirts)
For new players use Pulse Mage upgrade A (chance to multihit) initially and then add Frozone Malone with upgrade A (freezing effect slows enemies more) when unlocked. The Fireball Lobber is also reasonably effective here as the tower defence area is quite small but focus on levelling Boulder Roller until Poisonic Elder is unlocked in construction.
Focus on damage and adding utility as necessary to protect your totem health then balance damage/utility for as long as possible. As your tower levels increase aim for the following setup and upgrades.
Acorn Assault (World 1 – The Roots)
A difficult World 1 tower defence that will usually lag behind others in max wave this has a bias towards high health healing bosses where Stormcaller and Voidinator are critical. Prior to unlocking Voidinator your choices are limited to reach high waves as the bosses will out heal your potential damage but your best option will be a Boulder/Frozone combination.
Wakawaka War (World 2 – Up Up Down Down)
Focused on invisible enemies this tower defence is reliant on Voidinator again for high waves and before unlocking this tower spreading out your damage towers can help to ensure you have something in range at all times. Like other tower defences it is hard to reach high waves without the Voidinator power but a spread out Boulder/Frozone setup will be best for your initial attempts.
Frosty Firefight (World 3 – Rollin’ Tundra)
Another difficult tower defence challenge with lots of small enemies that will try get past your defences and combo with stunners so extra Kraken are important to build early. Prior to having Kraken this can be a difficult tower defence so focus on lots of spread out Frozone instead.
Clash of Cans (World 4 – Mountainous Deugh)
The strangest tower defence map these different platforms make it difficult to determine where to place towers the first few attempts. This tower defence focuses on enemies that are fast moving and can stun your towers so progress without a Voidinator is difficult but similar to Wakawaka War spreading out towers is your best strategy if you don’t have Voidinator yet.
Citric Conflict (World 5 – OJ Bay)
A perfectly flat tower defence map that seems easy but has limits on the number of towers you can fit. Voidinator is still core of your strategy but needs to be a little separated from the portal to ensure no enemies are missed. This tower defence will test your damage through construction and Equinox mostly as towers are limited.
Breezy Battle (World 6 – Above The Clouds)
Another mostly flat tower defence challenge where lots of Kraken are required to hold back the flow of enemies while damage stacks with the standard strategy as you should have all towers available at this point from construction. You need to be very careful of letting enemies through without being hit by the Voidinator so use the Hunter Stop Right There talent carefully and focus Party Starter speed early.
Pufferblob Brawl (World 7 – Puffpuff Overpass)
The world 7 tower defence has an awkward layout on the Pufferblob map where a high level Party Starter in construction will help as extra levels add tower range. Follow the standard tower defence strategy so far as you build your stall tactics on the rear platform so enemies will group at the start of that platform as they cannot be pushed back down to the other platform. Consider using extra Stormcallers upgraded with option A for high damage when enemies get low if struggling with damage output.

Voidinator
Kraken Cosplayer
Frozen Malone
Poisonic Elder
Party Starter
Stormcaller
Pulse Mage
