  • Lots of custom games – Friendly community – Demo available
  • Lack of depth in most available games

Blockland is a multiplayer focused experience that offers a large number of custom developed game worlds created by the community. The game has a very Lego inspired feel to the gameplay and has a steadily growing community of over 50,000 users.

In Blockland you can choose to focus on creating your own worlds out of toy blocks in single player or take to the multiplayer servers which feature a wide variety of block based games from FPS to racing and even role playing. The game also has a fun physics engine under its hood so destroying creations or games based around explosions (such as a rocket launcher in a FPS game) look amazing.

Blocks that you place have near unlimited potential especially when compared to similar games. Blocks in the game world can be heavily modified to change lighting, colour, shape and more.

Players can either use these blocks to build epic monuments by themselves or create multiplayer environments by adding bots and simple scripts to their creations. If you aren’t creatively minded though don’t worry as the community is always creating new experiences so you can simply spend your time enjoying the amazing work that has been put together by the community.

Blockland also has a demo available so there is no need to commit to purchasing the game without getting a taste for the experience first. The demo has several limitations but is still enough to make a purchase decision, even including some preloaded saves to help you explore the potential of Blockland.

Blockland has a large community and with so many available games you’ll get months if not years out of this game.

  • Single player and multi-player options.
  • Large number of community created game modes (racing, FPS and RPG).
