Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector is a game of collecting unique cats with their own designs and personalities. By purchasing food, furniture and toys players aim to attract cats into their garden where they can take photos of them and receive gifts of fish or other mementos. These silver or gold fish are then used to purchase new food items, goods and even extend your garden further to make room for additional cute cats in your collection.
Garden styles can also be changed from one of four different styles (Zen, Modern, Rustic and Western) which can help add variety to your kitty photo album. Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector is open ended with no official end to the game although players will generally attempt to collect all 45+ cats, with emphasis on the 15+ rare cats which only appear once particular conditions are met and have unique interactions with their favourite item.
