Risk of Rain was a Kickstarter funded indie hit that launched in late 2013 for Windows platform, with ports following soon after. In this adventure players will guide their spaceship survivor on a strange planet as they adventure through randomised levels packed with enemies and items which serve both defensive and offensive purposes.

Risk of Rain features a dozen different characters for players role play as that each come with their own stats and style to gameplay. This ensures a wealth of depth on top of what is already available through the random elements.

In each level the players objective is simple, to locate a teleporter at a random location which will move you to the next area. With enemies getting more ferocious with time players must balance the risks of staying to farm an area with the rewards of extra experience, money and items.
