Games Like STALKER Our collection of games like STALKER features other first person shooters with impressive atmospheres, evolving open game worlds and an element of mystery.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (STALKER) series of video games started in 2007 with three games that focus on events surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Each game explores an alternative timeline where this nuclear accident resulted in the creation of region known as "The Zone" which now houses a number of strange events, mutant wildlife, zombified humans, bandits, warring factions and treasure hunters. Exploring a different story and point in time within this shared world STALKER creates a highly unique adventure as you watch the world change over time and connect with familiar characters.

The core gameplay of STALKER is similar to other FPS games with players able to equip their choice of weapons, armour and artefacts that serve as special items that offer unique properties and obtained from anomalies in the environment. Player choice and the ability to freely roam the game world are also important elements to the STALKER franchise with players able to side with one of the game factions and go around the world accepting various side missions, locating hidden stashes, acquiring wealth and investigating strange events on their path through the main quest lines.

Whether you're looking for games like Stalker Call of Pripyat, Clear Sky or the original Shadow of Chernobyl the list here focuses on providing games that offer a similar dark atmosphere to the STALKER franchise and titles and combine that with player choice, survival and mystery in a FPS setting.
