16 Games Like Wurm Online

Games Like Wurm Online Our collection of games like Wurm Online features other multiplayer games where you can customise the world around you and claim your own piece of it.

Wurm Online is a unique sandbox MMORPG experience with a beta first launched in 2003 with various releases since that time including the spin off Wurm Unlimited. As a sandbox MMO the game world of Wurm is one of player creation with players directly impacting elements of other player adventures. While each new server starts full of empty land it doesn’t take long for players to shape it with terraforming, buildings and even entire cities to create their own stories.

In order to create things within the game world players first need to gather adequate resources by cutting trees or mining them from the ground which provides the foundational building blocks for most game mechanics. By crafting these resources further into tools and objects players can create structures or equipment in order to advance their progression. Just like other MMOs players can also advance through quests and improve a variety of skills while making friends with others in the community.

The games like Wurm Online that are featured here offer a mixture of massively multiplayer online and single player games where you are free to shape and create the world around you. In these sandbox adventures you'll be able to communicate with others, craft items, construct buildings, level up your skills and other activities.
