• Endless possibilities with game worlds created across all genres with large communities
  • Easy to learn Lua programming language underneath that provides plenty of depth at the same time
  • Mobile versions currently lack the same attention to detail as the core version (such as character controls)

Roblox is a free to play online game with a focus on building and user generated content that has exploded since its original release in 2005 to become the home of user created gaming. With thousands of worlds created by other players to experience alone, alongside friends and strangers the game targets primarily a teenager demographic with popular game modes such as battle royale, first person shooters, puzzles, mini games, role playing, survival games and tycoon games. Given the nature of the Roblox world though the popular games and genres are constantly changing which ensures there is always a fresh adventure to dive into.

Combined with various social features of the Roblox website (and replicated in the respective Roblox game apps) players can easily connect with others, explore the latest and greatest game worlds or even start creating your own adventure for the Roblox community. As a result there is room for all sorts of players from those that want to be social to the players that spend all their time building new worlds or those that want to do a mixture of activities. Even though creators far out number the millions of Roblox players there is no shortage of new experiences to be found on Roblox with the top games regularly rotating every few months as games rise and fall.

Central to the creation tools that players have access to is the Lua programming language that is both easy to use and diverse in capabilities to ensure advanced game creators can constantly push their Roblox games to the next level. Combined with the various blocks and shapes that are built into the Roblox platform worlds can quickly be created while still leaving enough room for each Roblox world to look and feel unique.

Using these available tools the users of Roblox have created all sorts of worlds where you can fight, race, destroy, explore and other activities. While some of these are designed as once off games to conquer there is a growing roster of continuous progression games that constantly introduce new maps, mechanics or challenges to bring players back regularly. With thousands upon thousands of these game worlds there is no shortage of different experiences waiting for you in the Roblox universe. The popular experiences are constantly changing overtime but some staples such as Bloxburg where players build houses and engage in life simulation akin to The Sims are constantly at the top world lists.

In order to provide a potential avenue for creators to be rewarded for their time players can purchase and spend premium game currencies or hold a Roblox subscription that provides a range of convenience and visual enhancements. You’ll connect to these Roblox worlds with your customisable avatar that you can customise with a large number of bodies, heads, clothing and hats to give you your own Roblox personality. This also serves as a place to customise your characters from others and a sense of fame for those that acquire particular items.

Ultimately Roblox is a game where you find your own enjoyment by either creating a world or finding one created by another player that captures your ideal gameplay. With thousands of different game worlds and the option to create your own there really is never a dull moment in Roblox.

  • Play one of the thousands of player created experiences across game genres.
  • Create whatever you want with Lua scripting to turn basic objects into diverse interactions.
  • Large community of millions that always provide a new friendship opportunity with the social features.
  • Spend game currencies to customise your Roblox avatar across game worlds.
  • Play on your platform of choice with computer, console and mobile apps.

  1. Roblox is cool actually

    • thanks so much

  2. awesonme!!!!!!!!

  3. Roblox is amazing for kids from 6 up to 60!!!! My cousin Charrlotte is 5 years old and loves this game. She is better than me

  4. I like it a lot but I haven’t been able to play it in a while and I don’t have it on my iPhone but survivalcraft is a whole lot better even the demo mode is better.

  5. ROBLOX is a fantastic game, needs a higher rating.

  6. It’s fun and you can learn how to program some. I don’t really recommend letting your kid play alone depending on their maturity, though

  8. That is my kind of game it is like gta5

    • Your so nice this my game i made

  9. this game is awesome and is totally under rated. u can build, fight, and more ROBLOX ROCKS!!!

  10. This is an amazing sandbox game. Everything that you will play on it will be user created, the whole game is based on building a community of developers and users that create and play awesome games together.

  11. Roblox is a amazing game you should have fun playing it.

  12. I play ROBLOX all the time! Me and my two sisters are obsessed, we could play it 24/7 (we already do). We always get in trouble for not listening to our parents when we are playing it, they have to take the electronics away from us. We are still hooked even though we get in so much trouble! GO ROBLOX! BTW, your right it should have a higher rating. like atleast a 9.0. Great Game, even though it’s not exactly like minecraft if you were looking for a game like minecraft, it’s still great. Sorry for talking too much, I talk a lot! well toodles yepperdoodles! So ya! Bye

  13. Roblox is a great game, and I highly recommend it to friends and family.

  14. I do not recommend Roblox, To many kiddos at the ages of 6-12 doing “Online dating”. (Oh my!) From my experience if you do not buy something on the game people will call you “Noob” But that is normal for all games. Unless you are playing with a 4 year old. If you are 13 or older you will probably find the kiddos funny. XD
It is your choice to play it or not, So I guess have fun.
    Rating- Roblox – 5/10

    • Exactly, alot of people online date, even when i was a noob, i joined in 2013, i even got banned for a week for cussing out stuff in 2013. now look at me. i dont get reported anymore. just noobs report me. and alot of people dont know how to be mature in ROBLOX, i just think alot of people are robots. all the ODering needs to stop. alot of kids at the age of 7 play ROBLOX, im not one of them. all the ODering just dropped my rating to a 6/10

  15. Was playing roblox for 4 years!! :D Plz dont call me a noob O.o

  16. This Game Is Good For Me

  17. Well, ROBLOX is a fun game, but now in days, ROBLOX is to modern, i like the graphics, i don’t like how its hard to make a single game like the mad murderer, or Apocalypse Rising or something. i still like the game 10/10

  18. does anyone else think blockland copied roblox?
