Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies

  • Rockstar vibe – Simple and fun
  • Not as much depth as similar games

In Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies players will be fighting off all the groupies that want their own shot at stardom. It is available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

The game uses a side scrolling tower defence style of gameplay that was originally made popular by Plants vs Zombies. This means that fans of the game will slip right into the gameplay mechanics of Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies without much trouble.

You’ll encounter a number of enemies from cougars, beauty queens and even the odd Bimbo in Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies as they all attempt to take over your own fame and fortune for their shot at the bright lights of fame. As you advance through the game this enemy list will grow as will your arsenal of weapons to fight them off.

Money plays the resource role in Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies with players able to grow money trees to fund their defensive forces. Money will also drop from the sky from time to time to help the player. This money is used to place new defences or upgrade ones already in the field of play. All the weapons have a rockstar vibe and some are just plan hilarious. This vibe continues through the game dialogue with the word “totally” making plenty of appearances.

Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies ramps up the difficulty in the game at a steady pace, starting with only a single lane and slowly increasing to a total of six lanes for players to defend.

Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies is a unique game setting and impressive tower defence style game that focuses on light-hearted gameplay and backs it up with solid game mechanics that fans of Plants vs Zombies and similar games will love.
