  • Make, share and play stories – Gameplay feels realistic – Customise main character names
  • Limited graphics – Some choices result in the same story direction

Seen is a free to play Android title that sends you back to the days of high school as you engage in an interactive story of love. Playing as Mark Blythe (or a name you select yourself) you’ll fall in love with Nicole Tyler, a fellow student that you’ll have to pursue.

Not only will you have to get to know Nicole you’ll also get to befriend a number of characters as you make decisions that alter the game world around you ultimately receive a different game ending. While your objective sounds simple on the surface, anybody that has navigated the complexities of high school romance will know all to well that there are many twists and turns. After you’ve had your fill of the core gameplay you’ll then be able to create your own stories to play or share them with others.

Gameplay in Seen is similar to the various other interactive story games although tells its story without the use of images, instead telling its story through a messenger style app that mixes in designs from some of the popular message apps.

Within this chat app you’ll be able to bounce between conversations with characters, look at screenshots and get a real sense of managing a social circle. While responding to messages requires you to touch the keyboard this is more of a simulation than anything as responses are predetermined to keep the story flowing into one of the available directions. Before “typing” out your reply the available options are listed out.

Highlights of the gameplay include the main character typing out a reply only to backspace it and the callbacks to past conversations that help build this sense of a player tackling with love.

  • Create your own stories and share them.
  • Relive the high school love experience.
  • Make decisions that change your story.
  • Interact with the chat like app and meet characters.
  • Free to play on Android.
