Warface offers free to play shooting with classes and co-operative modes against an ever expanding number of maps. Available for PC and at one point Xbox 360 (shut down Feb 2015) Warface is a highly rated free to play shooter and recently added it’s own Battle Royale mode.

Co-op mode in Warface features a class system of Rifleman, Sniper, Medic and Engineer which each bring their own skills to ensure victory in the daily missions that you and your friends will have to conquer. This ensures a fresh challenge each day to face and gives you plenty of unlockable content spread across the three difficultly levels of Regular, Skilled and Hardcore.

While co-op is varied and a great way to hone your skills you’ll also find a solid competitive landscape offered by Warface that brings all the usual game modes to life. Warface offers the likes of team deathmatch, free for all, bomb plating, destruction and a handful of other modes where you’ll be able to again swap between the class of your soldier.

These classes in both PvE and PvP fill typical roles and shine more so in the PvE where their special action can provide greater benefit to the team as opposed to the shorter lifespans of PvP spawns. The Rifleman for example carries extra ammunition for his team while the Medic can heal and revive team mates.

All of this gameplay is wrapped in the pretty package of the CRYENGINE which makes graphics sharp throughout the game modes. Other unique elements of Warface include the ability to slide which adds another combat element, the unique interactions of players (like giving a team member a boost to secure higher ground) and a solid collection of weapon customisation that can be done within the game itself.

Summary:

  • High quality free to play shooter.
  • Play through PvE and PvP game modes.
  • Daily missions combine with other reward systems to keep you playing.
  • Four different classes to master.
  • Slide your way into battle or assist team members reaching new areas.
